So how on earth do we make money?
If you decide to use Tars Payments, we collect a tiny transaction fee of 0.15% on top of the payment processing fee. It helps us keep the lights on, and it means we only succeed if you succeed.
So how much am I paying in fees per payment?
You'll pay the standard payment processing fee charged by Stripe, our payment provider (typically 2.9% + $0.30 for credit cards). In addition, Tars collects a fee of 0.15%.
When are the fees collected?
Both the Tars and the Stripe fees are collected upon a payment's completion and are deducted from the payout sent to your account. No action needed from you.
